In a collaborative effort to combat child marriage and promote gender equality, Sikhya Entertainment and Viniyard Film present the poignant documentary "Kicking Balls," produced by renowned filmmakers Ashvini Yardi and Academy Award winner Guneet Monga Kapoor. This heartwarming film explores the lives of 200 teenage girls from three villages in Rajasthan, who, despite being child brides, find hope and freedom through football, an initiative driven by a local NGO.

Million Voices to Action

A movement using power of documentary through village screenings to impact over a million lives in 10K villages in India.

The Movement: "1 Million Voices to Action"

She Leads Impact Fund has partnered with Oscar Award Winner Guneet Monga Kapoor to launch the nationwide campaign "1 Million Voices to Action." This movement aims to empower women in rural India by leveraging "Kicking Balls" as a powerful tool for storytelling, unlocking capital, dialogue, and advocacy. The goal is to inspire behavioral change and policy recommendations to eradicate child marriage and promote gender equality, bringing the concept of women's empowerment full circle.

Our Vision

Our vision is to take powerful documentaries like "Kicking Balls" to communities that connect with their narratives, enabling a system of action - ONE VILLAGE AT A TIME. By bringing these stories to life and empowering rural women, we strive to create a ripple effect that fosters change and uplifts communities across India.
