In just a decade, we’ve trained 36,000+ women across 5 states in India. Today, they’ve delivered 100 million solutions to 4.3 million rural households – generating $100 million in revenue, elevating Saheli’s incomes by 100% within their first year.
Our model ensures that for every $100 committed to training, supporting and mentoring a Saheli, she can become self-sufficient within the first 12 months. She now has agency and can access finance to continue to develop her business. Within 3 years, she can earn over $100 per month (ie. $1,200 per annum – six times the original investment provided), and it keeps growing over time, providing funds that are recycled through the Saheli Network. We call this catalytic funding.
