Over the next five years, we will:
This will involve exponential growth of our network across multiple states – recruiting and training women across India and the Rural South
Our goal is to serve 50 million rural households with essential goods and services by 2030
We will continue to work with our delivery partner, Frontier Markets to enhance the Meri Saheli platform – incorporating AI-driven features (in local languages), to assist women in building their businesses
A major shift will be to build a fully-fledged inclusion ladder for rural women. Our goal is for every Saheli woman to have a credit score and access to affordable financing options – effectively integrating into India’s formal ecomony and all the opportunities that embodies.
By 2030 we envision our Saheli’s delivering solutions aligned with at least 10 UN SDGs, making them truly agents of change in their communities
By 2030 we hope that She Leads Bharat will serve as a blueprint for others, that can be adopted in other countries and contexts in the Global South, exemplifying how public-private-philanthropic partnerships can unlock the potential of women, at the base of the pyramid.
Our work directly contributes to six UNDP's Sustainable Development Goals
