Our next goal is bold; scaling the network from 36,000 to 100,000 women across all Indian States in the next two years. To do this we are raising USD 2.5 million in philanthropic funding.

Our model ensures that for every $100 committed to training, supporting and mentoring a Saheli, she can become self-sufficient within the first 12 months. She now has agency and can access finance to continue to develop her business. Within 3 years, she can earn over $100 per month (ie. $1,200 per annum – six times the original investment provided), and it keeps growing over time, providing funds that are recycled through the Saheli Network. We call this catalytic funding.
